When There is Rain

When there is Rain
by Mark Kaven Lazaro

When there is rain I use to lie on my bed
Watching the billions of teardrops that shed
I think it brings the people to dread
Because when it’s more than rain it makes people dead

I wish for this world to vanish the tragedy
Because it makes heaven’s eyes cry so heavy
We are like the mouth that taste salty
Tasting the cost of reality uneasily

When there is rain I remember the agony
For many suffered and died because we made nature angry
When there is rain I want everyone in safety
Because the angry sky will return our cruelty
