The Rose

"The Rose"

"The Rose"
by Mark Kaven Lazaro

Verily, verily Thou possess the great beauty
The bees are surrounding thee that want to feel the chase
Thou entice thee yet thou get their madly charity
As you move through the air like they really want to taste
Verily, verily a bee that could be won thee
He is able to conquer his thousands of foe
Deceive him not for you have thorns behind leaves of thee
Like the great man who fell and rolled his eyes to his toe

The Cry of Brown Men

"The Cry of Brown Men"
by Mark Kaven Lazaro

Many years we own this land
we cherish, we protect this
Many spears were raised
Then brown men cried "This is ours!"

The bloods were shed and spilled
In the soil where we stand on
Bows and arrows defended
Against the white and yellow

Many names were written down
Known for their love for the land
Lead it not to vanity
Fellows fight  for what is ours

"A Feather"

A Feather
by Mark Kaven Lazaro

A feather came from a bird that flew
Flying through the air to reach the ground
Here is a girl running to catch it
She is giving her full best to get

"I was on the sparrow's wings fly high
Now I am here holding by a child
I was one of them that beautifies
Now I am useless unlike before"

From the soft little hands there it lies
She is happily playing with it
This girl enjoys the waste part of bird
A feather  came from greatness that flew
